Edmonton Vocal Minority’s 2017 Pride concert celebrates the power of love to bring people together.

EVM’s Queerly entertaining afternoon will feature music made popular by the B 52s, Dionne Warwick, Bette Midler, Captain & Tennille and from the musicals Chess, La Cage aux Folles, The Lion King, Les Misérables, and Rent.

With his unique style and entertaining wit, Edmonton drag legend Darrin Hagen will be hosting the show. Besides being a living legend, Darrin is also a playwright, composer, author, and television host with numerous awards recognising his work.

Along with performances by the full choir, the concert also features solos, duets, and ensembles from EVM's cabaret "Added Spice" which played to a sold out audience earlier this year.

Edmonton Vocal Minority is conducted by Paula Roberts and will be accompanied by Brad Heintzman, piano; Kevin Andrews, drums; and Doug Berner, bass and trumpet.

Tickets are available from EVM members and from Tix on the Square.
